Two Facing Drug Charges After Traffic Stop for Speeding: Police
The arrests took place Saturday on East Main Street, police said.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A traffic stop led to two people being busted for drug possession in Riverhead, police said.
According to New York State Police, Michael S. Olmeda, 31, of Mastic, was arrested on Saturday and charged with two counts of second degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; Luiza Volo, 35, of Mastic ,was also arrested and charged with one count of second degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
The pair were busted following a traffic stop for speeding on East Main Street in Riverhead, police said.

Olmeda was held for Saturday arraignment; Volo was issued an appearance ticket and is expected back at Riverhead Justice Court on Sept. 22, police said.
