Four Charged With Gang Assault in Long Island Bar Stabbings: Police

A 30-year-old man is in grave condition and the other victim, a 23-year-old man, is listed in serious, but stable condition.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY - Four men are charged with felony gang assault in connection with a double stabbing outside a Long Island bar early Saturday, police said.

The "bar fight" occurred around 3:50 a.m. in the parking lot of CB's Bar and Grill in Hampton Bays, Southampton Town Police Sgt. Michael Burns said.

When police arrived to the location at 214 W. Montauk Highway, they found a 30-year-old man who had been stabbed in the torso. The Riverhead man, who police did not name, was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center, where he is listed in grave condition, police said.

A second victim, a 23-year-old man (police did not release his name or hometown) was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for stab wounds. He is listed in serious, but stable condition.

Alert officers were able to locate the car and parties involved in the assault a few miles from the scene, Southampton Police said.

The following people were arrested and charged with two counts of first degree gang assault:

  • Carlos Gutierrez-Zacupa, 23, of Flanders
  • Nelvin Ramos-Andrades, 18, of Hampton Bays
  • Luis Linares-Chavez, 22, of Westhampton
  • Marvin Siciliano-Nunez, 19, of Hampton Bays

Luis Linares-Chavez was also charged with a driving while ability impaired. All of those arrested will be held in police custody overnight for arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court Sunday morning.
