Unlicensed, Drug-Impaired Driver Crashes into Riverhead Pizza Shop: Cops
No injuries were reported, police said.

RIVERHEAD, NY - An unlicensed man driving while impaired by drugs crashed into a Riverhead pizzeria on Sunday, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the accident took place on Sunday at 11:52 a.m.; police responded to Sergio’s Pizza, located on 739 Old Country Road, for a report of a vehicle that had struck the building and left the scene.
The vehicle was located a short distance away being operated by Jaquan Harris, 27, of Uniondale, police said.

Harris was arrested and charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, leaving the scene of an accident with property damage and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, police said.
No injuries were reported, police said.

The Riverhead Town Fire Marshall also responded to inspect the structural integrity of the building, police said.
