Woman with 5-Year-Old Girl Stole Purse, Diaper Bag from Children's Play Spot: Police
BREAKING: The woman stole the items while at Safari Adventure in Riverhead with a child, police said.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A Hampton Bays woman stole a purse and diaper bag while at Safari Adventure in Riverhead with a child, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, Danielle Cordone, 40, of Hampton Bays, was arrested on Wednesday at 10 a.m. by the department's COPE unit and charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor, and two counts of petty larceny.
Police said on September 5, Cordone stole a pocketbook with numerous personal items, as well as a diaper bag, from Safari Adventure, located on Pulaski Street in Riverhead — while she was with a five year old child.

She was processed, arraigned, and released on her own recognizance, police said.
