Woman Busted for Using Stolen Credit Cards at Riverhead Supermarket: Police
The Riverhead woman is charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, police said.

A Riverhead woman was busted Wednesday after she used stolen credit cards to go food shopping, police said.
According to Riverhead Police Department’s Detective Division, Sarah Schaw, 35, of Riverhead was arrested at 6:30 p.m. charged with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property in the fourth degree, a felony, and two counts of identity theft in the third degree, a misdemeanor.
The arrest was made following an investigation where the victim’s credit and debit cards were used at the Riverhead Stop & Shop on Old Country Road in Riverhead on October 13 and 15, 2015, police said.

The investigation led to the identification of Schaw as the person who made the unauthorized purchases on the victims credit/debit cards, police said.
Schaw was arrested and transported to the Riverhead Police Department for processing and taken to arraignment, police said.
