Woman Charged With DWI In Riverhead: Cops

She was stopped for crossing hazard markings, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Calverton woman was charged with driving while intoxicated in Riverhead recently, police said.

According to New York State Police, on Nov. 16 at 6:37 p.m., Eileen M. Murray, 50, was driving on Pulaski Street near Osborne Ave. and was stopped for crossing hazard markings.

Upon further investigation, Murray was found to be intoxicated with a BAC of .09%; she was arrested, charged with DWI, and is due back in Southampton Justice Court on Dec. 26, police said.
