Woman Charged With Selling Alcohol To Minor: Cops
The woman was charged during a New York State Liquor Authority compliance check, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A woman was charged with selling alcohol to a minor during a New York State Liquor Authority compliance check in Riverhead, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, on March 29, Ahndrea Valentin was arrested and charged with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child after a compliance check at Buffalo Wild Wings on Old Country Rd. in Riverhead.
Valentin was processed and released on a desk appearance ticket, police said.

Members of the Riverhead Town Police Department's COPE unit conducted a New York State Liquor Authority compliance check of five locations in Riverhead, targeting the sale of alcohol to patrons under 21, police said.

The checks are part of an ongoing effort by the Riverhead Town Police Department to ensure New York State Liquor Authority and New York State penal law compliance for the sale of alcohol to minors, police said.
