Woman Found With Crack Pipe: Cops

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead woman was caught with a pipe containing crack cocaine, police said.

According to New York State Police, on July 23 at 7:52 p.m., Julie S. Willingham, 39, contacted police to check on the welfare of her boyfriend. Further investigation revealed Willingham was in possession of marijuana and the glass pipe containing crack cocaine, police said.

After checking on the welfare of her boyfriend, Willingham was arrested, transported back to New York State Police Barracks Riverside, processed and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

Willingham was released on an appearance ticket and is due back in Southampton Justice Court on Aug. 1, police said.
