Woman Gave Stun Gun To Juvenile Who Menaced Store Employee: Cops
She also used a stun gun herself to menace an employee at Old Navy, and stole from Stop & Shop, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A woman used a stun gun to menace an Old Navy employee and also gave a stun gun to a juvenile, who menaced a Stop & Shop worker, police said.
According to the Riverhead Police Department, Aleesha Strand, of Flanders, was arrested on Friday after numerous incidents that were investigated by the department's Community Oriented Policing Enforcement, or COPE, division.
The first incident took place on July 24 when Strand stole $782 of goods from Stop & Shop on Old Country Road in Riverhead, police said.

The second incident occurred on July 26 at 6:40 p.m. when Strand menaced an employee of Old Navy with a stun gun at on W. Main Street, police said.
The third incident also took place on July 26, just 20 minutes later at 7 p.m.; Strand had a stun gun and provided it to a juvenile, who menaced an employee at Stop and Shop on Old Country Road, police said.

Strand was arrested and charged with petty larceny, two counts of fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon, second degree menacing, and fourth degree criminal facilitation, police said.
