Woman Held Up At Knifepoint In Riverhead: Police
BREAKING: The search is on for the two suspects, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A woman was held up at knifepoint in Riverhead Thursday — and the search is on for the two suspects, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, the robbery was reported at 11:30 a.m. in front of an East Main Street business.
During the course of the investigation, it was determined that a man and woman approached the victim and removed a bank envelope from her pocketbook, police said.

A knife was displayed by the man during the robbery, police said.
Both suspects fled the area in a black-colored vehicle with white New York plates, police said. Patrol units canvassed the area for the suspects with negative results, police said.

The male suspect is described as being Hispanic, in his late 30s, about 5'7" tall, with a thin build, clean shaven, and with short black hair; he was wearing a white T-shirt with green stripes and black jeans, police said.
The woman is described as being Hispanic, in her middle 30s, about 5' tall, with thin build, and long curly black hair tied up in a bun; she was wearing a black blouse and black pants, police said.
