Woman Presents Forged Check: Police
She was arrested for the incident, which took place at a Riverhead check cashing business, after an investigation, police say.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Mount Sinai woman was arrested after she presented a forged check at a local business, police said.
According to Riverhead Police, Nicole Guida,23, was arrested in connection with an incident that took place at the Frank and Ross Payroll Service on Old Country Road in Riverhead on March 12.
Guida entered the check cashing business and presented a forged commercial check for payment, police said.

The Riverhead Police Department's detective division conducted an investigation resulting in Guida's arrest; she was charged with second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, a felony, police said.
She was arraigned in the Riverhead Justice Court on Oct. 31, police said.
