Woman Sentenced To Three Years Probation For Dumping Two Puppies At Riverhead Animal Hospital
The woman admitted to SPCA officers she dumped the puppies in Riverhead on December 18, 2012.

The Suffolk County SPCA issued a statement Wednesday that an Amityville woman was sentenced to a term of three years probation last week in an animal abuse case stemming from the dumping of two puppies in Riverhead on December 18, 2012.
The male puppy succumbed to his injuries on Dec. 29, 2012.

Swaneka P.J. Danzler, 23, admitted to SPCA officers that she dumped the puppies at the Riverhead Animal Hospital.
She pleaded guilty to one count of abandonment last Wednesday before Riverhead Town Justice Allen Smith.
