Woman Stabbed Multiple Times By Husband: Police
BREAKING: The man was arrested and underwent surgery for what appeared to be a self-inflicted wound, police said.

RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead woman was stabbed multiple times by her husband, 59, during a Saturday morning attack, police said.
According to Riverhead Town Police, authorities responded to a home on Segal Avenue at 8:34 a.m. after a report of a domestic incident.
The victim was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center for treatment of her injuries; she was later treated and released.

Her husband was placed into custody and transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with "what appears to be a self-inflicted wound;" he underwent emergency surgery, police said. His injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
