Woman Uses Stolen Credit Card To Charge $2K+ In Purchases: Cops

RIVERHEAD, NY — A woman used a stolen credit card to purchase more than $2,000 worth of items at Target, police said.

According to Riverhead Town Police, the incident took place at Feb. 21 at 12:28 p.m. at the Target located at 1150 Old Country Rd. in Riverhead when a woman made the unauthorized purchases with a credit card that was reportedly stolen from the Stop & Shop, also located on Old Country Rd., about an hour before.

The woman is about 25 years old with dark hair and glasses, police said.
