2 Die In Accident Thursday On Sprain Brook Parkway

The single-car accident occurred when the driver lost control of his vehicle.

GREENBURGH, NY — Two men died as a result of a one-car accident Thursday morning when the driver lost control of his car while trying to change lanes on the Sprain Brook Parkway in Greenburgh.

James Campion, 26, of White Plains, and Pedro Mattos, 21, of Mount Vernon were killed after Campion swiped the guard rail, crossed three lanes and hit a tree, according to lohud.com.

Campion was dead at the scene, and Mattos was pronounced dead at the hospital.
