3 Charged In Shooting Death Of Greenburgh Man
The shooting took place in a stairwell of the apartment building where two of the accused lived.

GREENBURGH, NY — A Greenburgh resident was shot and killed Thursday and three teens have been arrested. Brothers Trevon Major, 16, and Vance Major, 18, and Timothy Whitney, 18, face weapon possession and evidence tampering charges, felonies.
Joseph Smith III was shot in the stairwell of an apartment at 100 Manhattan Ave., which is where the Major brothers live, lohud.com said.
A search of the Majors’ apartment came up with a gun.
