The Greenburgh Nature Center just opened up their new welcome center. I visited the center earlier this week. To say I'm impressed is a great understatement. I strongly encourage you to visit the closest thing to paradise that we have on Central Ave.
The new welcome center and trails will enhance the experience for visitors while supporting the Nature Center's educational and environmental missions.
The new welcome center has provided visitors with a beautiful, attractive entrance. You will be able to learn about the 33 acre preserve. Maps, trail information and program updates will help you and fellow visitors make the most of your time at this great town asset.
The Nature Center is known for its live animal museum, pollinator gardens, wetlands, playgrounds, trails, story walk trails and so much more.
The new welcome center has new environmentally friendly composting toilets at the entrance and and a new trail connecting the pavilion to the Manor house. You will also love the butterfly exhibit.
Explore 33 acres of spectacular open spaceāone of the regions premier environmental education centers. I would be amazed if there is any municipal nature center anywhere in the tri state area that comes close to being as impressive as the Greenburgh Nature Center.
