GREENBURGH JOB CLUB- RESUME WORKSHOP MONDAY OCTOBER 19Watch video interview: volunteer coach and recent college grad who participated in Nobel Peace Prize Nominating CommitteeLast month I started a job club. The focus is to try to help recent college graduates who are out of work find employment. We had a good turnout of recent graduates with different backgrounds and accomplishments.
We are sponsoring a resume workshop on Monday, October 19th at 3 PM at Greenburgh Town Hall, 177 Hillside Ave. Volunteer job coaches will review resumes and provide tips to those who seek our help. Although our job club is focusing on recent college graduates, the program is open to others. Email me at pfeiner@greenburghny.com if you'd like to be added to the list of club members who will be notified of meetings.
Seth Corwin is one of our volunteer coaches. In the video link below, he interviews Greenburgh resident Grace Maresca who is currently out of work. Grace graduated Summa Cum Laude from Villanova University and then pursued a master's degree in Political Science at Vrije University in Amsterdam. She was selected as one of a handful of students who was able to participate in the Nobel Peace Prize Nominating Committee--an experience that very few young people have. Seth provides tips to Grace on steps she could take to enhance her chances of finding a great job. The tips he provides for Grace could also help others.
