Appeals Court To Rule On Edgemont Village Petition
If the court rules in favor of Edgemont, there will be vote on incorporation in 40 days.

EDGEMONT, NY — Whether the hamlet of Edgemont becomes a village is likely in the hands of a state appellate panel. If a decision comes down in favor of the hamlet, the Town of Greenburgh probably will not appeal it.
Supervisor Paul Feiner said he wants to read the opinion, but he is inclined to go along with the decision, whatever it is, the Journal News said.
If the court rules in favor of Edgemont, a vote would take place in 40 days on the new village.

Edgemont residents gathered signatures on a petition to have their section of the town incorporated as a village.
Only residents of Edgemont will be able to vote on incorporation.
