April 6- Walk and raise funds-federal gov cutting funds for food
Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry will be hurt due to federal cuts
SUNDAY, APRIL 6 AT 2 PM RIVERTOWNS HUNGER WALK 2 PM IRVINGTON PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH 25 NORTH BROADWAY, IRVINGTON
Federal cuts to Feeding Westchester, a food bank, will affect how much food they can offer the Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry. Many residents of Greenburgh and the River Villages take advantage of this food pantry. The loss of federal dollars to food pantries will have devastating consequences. On Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m many residents are walking together to raise awareness of the problem of food insecurity, and to raise money to buy food for our neighbors in need. Please join us. You can donate and sign up. Encourage your friends and neighbors to participate.
