Ardsley celebrating Asian American Pacific Islanders this Saturday

Another great day is planned in Ardsley this Saturday =celebrating neighbors who are Asian American Pacific Islanders.

This celebration is the latest celebration in the village highlighting different cultures, religions, and ethnic backgrounds of residents of Ardsley and the Greenburgh community.It’s shaping up to be a great day and a festive celebration for AAPI Heritage Month. On the 17th, festivities are from 11:30 am to 3:30 pm in Pascone Park, toward the back by the tennis courts and softball fields.

Cassie del Pilar is an Ardsley resident and chair of the 2025 Ardsley Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Festiva. Highlights include:

.- A performance program and tables representing Chinese, Indian, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, and Pakistani heritages

- 2 Westchester-based food trucks, Yumbro and Pokemotion

- 3 AAPI community organizations: The Bittermelon, Make Us Visible, and SPEAK

- Free crafts and games, including a henna artist and mahjong demonstrations
