Ardsley, Hastings-on-Hudson Schools on Two-Hour Delay Monday

Monday morning's weather forecast calls for freezing rain, sleet and snow in the Hudson Valley.

Ardsley and Hastings-on-Hudson school district officials have called for a two-hour delay districtwide on Monday, Jan. 12, due to the weather forecast.

Ardsley Schools Superintendent Dr. Lauren Allan notified parents Sunday night via email and a post on the district website.

Hastings officials sent out the following announcement Sunday night:

Due to the inclement weather forecast, there will be a two-hour delayed opening tomorrow, Monday January 12.

Should the weather become more severe than forecasted, we will assess the conditions in the morning and advise you if a school closure will be necessary.
