Arrest Made in 2015 Hit-and-Run Fatality in Greenburgh
Surveillance video helped police locate the vehicle in question.

Greenburgh police made an arrest Wednesday in a 2015 fatal hit-and-run accident that occurred on South Road.
Theodore Aubrey Gumbs, 51, of Wyndover Woods Lane in White Plains was charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in a death, a felony.
Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said the arrest stemmed from leads in an investigation that led to locating the 2015 Honda Pilot Gumbs was allegedly driving the night of June 9, 2015.

During the early morning hours, Darryl Chung, 23, was walking along South Street where he lived.
He was believed to be heading home when he was struck by a vehicle and killed.

The car left the scene with Chung lying on the side of the road, where he was later discovered by a passing motorist who called 911 around 6 a.m.
A video surveillance camera captured an SUV at approximately 1:45 a.m. June 9, 2015, traveling on South Road in the vicinity of Polk Place.
Detectives, working with the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, obtained a search warrant for Gumbs’ Pilot, which will be transported to the county forensic lab for analysis.
Gumbs was scheduled to be arraigned in the Greenburgh Town Court Thursday, April 28.
