
A 48-year-old bicyclist was injured Monday night after being hit by a car in Greenburgh, according to police.
The cyclist, whose identity was not disclosed, is from White Plains. He suffered head and leg injuries and was treated at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, reports The Journal News.
The accident occurred at about 7:30 p.m. near the intersection of Tarrytown Road and Hillside Avenue. Police said the driver of the car was a 77-year-old Greenburgh woman who was not injured.

Greenburgh police are continuing their investigation into the accident, and ask that anyone who may have witnessed it to contact the department at 914-989-1710.
