Blasting for Rivertowns Square Complex Begins Wednesday

Construction blasting is scheduled to begin tomorrow, Dec. 2, at the Rivertowns Square shopping center in Dobbs Ferry, village officials announced.

Blasting will take place for approximately two weeks, three to four times per day, in the area of Danforth and Livingstone avenues, starting at 9:30 a.m. and lasting until 2:30 p.m.

Officials said the blasting, which will be overseen by contractors, will occur Monday through Friday during the approximately two-week period.

Rivertowns Square is an open air shopping, lodging and entertainment complex scheduled to open in 2016.
