Bohemian-Chic Boutique Open in Irvington

"Avenue P" owner Andrea Assael describes the clothes she sells as: "Upscale, European, Bohemian-chic," said employee Emir O'Hara.

"The clothes are funky and unique," O'Hara said, "You can't get them anywhere else."

The shop in Irvington has had sporatic hours, but the schedule will become more consistent in coming weeks.

Assael has owned a shop in Larchmont for eight years—which she'll keep open in addition to the Irvington location. 

"Avenue P" offers only women's clothing—ranging from casual t-shirts to formal dresses. They also have everything in-between including: blouses, casual dresses, flowing skirts and shoes.

Designers include: Johnny Was, Whitewash and Neesh. by D.A.R. Assael does all the buying herself...with a little help from her mom.
