Continuum Update: BoT Working Session Wednesday
Irvington Board of Trustees working session this Wed July 11, at 7pm in Village Hall where Continuum will be providing an update on how they are responding to the issues raised during DEIS process.

Village of Irvington Board of Trustees will be conducting a working session this Wednesday, July 11, at 7:00pm in Village Hall at which time the Continuum representatives will be providing an update on how they are responding to the issues raised during the DEIS process.
My understanding is that this session was requested by the Board of Trustees and/or by Village Administrator Larry Shopfer. Below is the note that I received from Larry.
While this is a working session, not a public hearing, the public is invited to attend and listen. I'd encourage those with an interest in the Continuum project to attend.

I’m writing to let you know that representatives from Continuum will be attending the Village Board worksession on July 11 at 7:00 p.m. in Village Hall. As the Board that will ultimately decide on the revised zoning, the Board of Trustees asked Continuum for an update on how they are proceeding in responding to the comments received during the Draft Environmental Impact Statement process. Representatives from Continuum will provide an update on their progress thus far.

The July 11 worksession is a public meeting and you are welcome and invited to attend, but it is not a public hearing. There will be additional time for public comment in the future with both the Planning Board and the Village Board. The Planning Board intends to hold a public hearing once the Final Environmental Impact Statement is filed by Continuum. The Village Board will be required to hold a public hearing, if and when, the revised zoning is considered. Also, it is my understanding that the representatives from Continuum will reach out to the various neighborhood groups to schedule meetings over the next few weeks in order to review their progress and answer any questions you may have.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
