Originally in the intersection of Broadway and Harriman Road in Irvington, in much quieter, slower days. It memorialized the work of a beloved veterinarian. With the frenetic (20 mph?), racketing arrival of the horseless carriage, however, it was a dangerous anachronism in the road.
It now stands beside Irvington Town Hall.
