"It is what it is". Seriously, if I hear someone say that to me one more time, I am going to snap. Yes, we all have tough situations in our lives. We get knocked down, and sometimes feel beaten up. So what! The idea that you are supposed to just accept the bad stuff and do nothing about it is nuts! I have had some interesting things happen to me, both professionally and personally, and the idea that "it is what it is," is crazy. I am not saying that we have any control over what happens to us, but we do have control over how we REACT to it. I think we should be saying, "It is what we make it”. We should have the ability to empower ourselves to initiate positive change in our own lives. Trust me, you all have the strength and ability to overcome anything. Just let go of the past and take a positive view of life—it will make all the difference.
