Red Barn Bakery in Irvington Expands Sunday Brunch Menu

What's new at Red Barn Bakery's Sunday brunch

Red Barn Bakery in Irvington has added to its Sunday brunch menu; crepes are the recent arrival. They join the regular weekend fare which also includes eggs on toasted baguettes with home fries and challah French toast.

Customers can choose from a variety of organic crepes including mushroom, kale and gluten-free asparagus.

Muffins to be offered on this Sunday's menu (April 21, 2013) include an apple/blueberry/bran muffin (the bakery's lowest calorie muffin) and a Mediterranean olive-oil citrus muffin. [I especially love this muffin which at first glance looks like a corn muffin but does not taste like one; it is sweet, moist, delicious and keeps well for several days.]

For an accompanying beverage, try the chai latte.
