I did it to help slow the flow of this addictive painkiller from getting into the wrong hands. Believe me, I know it was like spitting in the wind, but it felt right. Now mainstream media has picked up the story and there appears to be some real momentum. Since this story started we have launched a charitable foundation called T.A.S.T.E—Take A Stand To End—whose mission is to help reduce, if not irradiate, pressing health issues. T.A.S.T.E. is our platform and prescription drug abuse is our first issue.
