Upcoming Meetings on Irvington Continuum Assisted Living Proposal
The Irvington Planning Board has scheduled 2 upcoming meetings related to the proposed development of the Continuum assisted living facility

The Irvington Planning Board has scheduled two key upcoming meetings related to the proposed development of the Continuum assisted living facility on Broadway.
On Wednesday, April 25 at 7:30pm in the Library, the Planning Board will be holding a working session on the Continuum project. This is a working session for the members of the Planning Board. And while those are typically not open to the public, the Planning Board has decided to invite the public to listen in during this one (they did the same with a recent working session on Mercy). It’s not an opportunity to speak, but rather to listen to their discussions around the project and should be quite insightful.
Wednesday, May 2, at 7:00pm is the next Planning Board meeting. They expect Continuum discussion to begin around 8:00pm. This meeting will be the continuation of what was interrupted due to the fire alarm at last month's meeting. So, those of you who were ready to ask questions (or those who were not at that meeting) should bring those questions to this meeting and be prepared to voice your concerns and questions.

If you've been waiting to sign the Say No to Continuum petition, well, what are you waiting for? The petition will be sent to the Planning Board and Board of Trustees later this week. So, if you've not yet signed it, and wish to have your voice hear, please do so now.
