Bronx Man Who Crashed Car Monday Faces Kidnapping Charge
Police said there was gunshot damage to the vehicle.

The Bronx man arrested Monday because of a possible domestic abduction was charged Tuesday.
New York State Police said Johuan Ramos was charged with second-degree kidnapping, a class B felony.
Police said the charge is in connection with abduction at gun point of a woman from a Bronx apartment building in the early morning hours of June 27.

Police were searching for Ramos Monday after he left the scene of an accident on Interstate 87 near the Ardsley rest stop.
The victim, who was injured, was left in the vehicle. Police said there was gunshot damage to the car.

Ramos was taken into custody around 1:45 p.m. Monday in the Town of Greenburgh.
He was arraigned in the City of Yonkers Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail without bail.
Ramos's next appearance in the City of Yonkers Court is scheduled for July 11.
