Cat — Missing Since March — Found, Returned To Owner
Her owner said the cat was on death's door but the hospital believes she will recover.

IRVINGTON, NY — There is good news in Irvington for one previously worried cat owner. Kit Kat, an 11-year-old black-and-white tuxedo, who has been missing since the end of March, was found.
Anabelle LaGuardia, Kit Kat's owner, said the cat was found close by her on South Ferris by a group of children.
LaGuardia, who never gave up that her cat would be returned, said the kids had seen the flyers around town and called her. They stayed with Kit Kat until LaGuardia could get there.

In an update posted on Facebook, she said, "She was found on death's door on some grass. She was literally unrecognizable and I had to compare her facial markings to a photo on my phone."
LaGuardia said Kit Kat was dirty, weighed only 4.6 pounds and was dehydrated.

The cat was also infested with fleas.
She was taken to the Central Animal Hospital where she will be treated for the next few days.
"I cannot thank enough all of the people that reached out to me trying to help my husband and I find her," LaGuardia said. "She was literally found in the nick of time and the hospital believes she will recover nicely."
