Celebrate Greenburgh Fireworks Rescheduled

GREENBURGH, NY — Due to expected rain Saturday, the Celebrate Greenburgh fireworks have been rescheduled for Saturday, July 28. All other activities during the day, up to and including Teri Lamar Band, will happened as planned. There will be no swimming after 6 p.m. or "Music Mixer DJ's," according to village officials.

GREENBURGH, NY — Didn’t get enough fireworks during the July 4th celebrations, well head over to the Town of Greenburgh for its annual Celebrate Greenburgh event. It will be held Saturday July 21, with a rain date of Sunday, July 22, at Anthony F. Veteran Park, 11 Olympic Lane in Ardsley.

Fireworks can also be viewed from McDowell Park, which is across from Veteran Park.

The pool entrance fee is $6, but it’s free after 6 p.m.

Events will include:

• 10 a.m. - 12 p.m., Tennis Carnival
• 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Senior Bridge Party-Music/Lunch at Multipurpose Center
• 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., County Clerk’s Mobile Office Passport Application Processing
• 12 - 4 p.m., Dunk Tank (proceeds benefit Greenburgh Swim Team)
• 1 p.m. - 3 p.m., Band - "Greg Jacquin & Friends"
• 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., Westchester County’s “Be Fit” Mobile
• 1 p.m. - 4 p.m., Firetruck/Smokehouse
• 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., Bubble Truck
• 1 p.m. - 5 p.m., Inflatable Water Slides
• 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m., Greenburgh Nature Center
• 2 p.m. - 4 p.m., Clown Performance/Face Painting
• 3 p.m. - 4 p.m., TDYCC Hip Hop Dance Group
• 4 p.m. - 6 p.m., Band - Teri Lamar
• 6 p.m. - Close, Pool Entrance Free
• 6:45 p.m. - 9:45 p.m.,"Music Mixer DJ's"
• 9 p.m. - Fireworks
