Civil War Lecture at Irvington Public Library April 17
The speaker, Chris Barry, is an Irvington High School Social Studies teacher and Department Chairperson.

The Irvington Historical Society presents a lecture by Chris Barry, entitled “No Flinching from Fire: Following the 65th New York Volunteers in the Civil War,” Friday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. at the Irvington Public Library.
Barry is an Irvington High School Social Studies teacher and Department Chairperson. His lifelong interest in the subject was fueled by a childhood visit to Gettysburg where his great-great grandfather served with the 65th New York Volunteers.
Every year his AP American History class ends with a trip to Gettysburg.
