Communications Survey Released by Dobbs Ferry Schools

The district is seeking parental input on its communications efforts.

The Dobbs Ferry School District is reaching out to parents for input into how it can improve its communication efforts.

“Our last survey was conducted over four years ago,” wrote Superintendent Lisa Brady, Ed.D. in an email to parents this week. ”Much has changed in that time and the methods we use today to connect with our school family have also changed.”

District officials said they have made expanding communications capabilities - and making it easier to have two-way dialogues with parents - a priority since 2011.

“This survey will enable us to collect data about the flow of information and help us assess if you are getting the types of communications you need and want,” Brady wrote. “We ask you to take a few minutes and complete this online survey by following the link [above], or going to the District’s website at www.dfsd.org (click on the link in SpotLight). Please submit your survey by Monday, December 7th.”

Responses will kept confidential and will help the district and the Board of Education improve the way they communicate with - and inform - parents and the community.
