Con Ed Tree Trimming in Irvington Sept. 10

Con Ed will begin tree trimming (line clearing) on Thursday, Sept. 10, in Irvington, according to village officials.

Crews will be on the following roads:

• Field Terrace
• Havemeyer Road
• Washington Avenue
• Osceola Avenue

Only trimming will be done on Thursday, but the utility company may also identify any trees it believes need to come down in the near future. Any trees identified for removal will be discussed with the Village and (or) property owner before any removal begins.

The Village will be supplied with a list of streets to be trimmed on a daily basis. Ryan Peterson of Trees, Inc. will hang a door card at every home that will be affected by the trimming.
