Discussion Wednesday on Possible Composting Site at Landmark at Eastview Property in Greenburgh

Greenburgh officials Wednesday will discuss a plan to rezone the Landmark at Eastview property to allow for a composting site at the complex.

The proposal calls for the property to be rezoned as a Planned Economic Development district, which will give the owners of the 100-acre site the option to create a composting site, among other uses. The property currently houses the pharmaceutical company Regeneron.

Town officials are hoping to promote composting at the facility and throughout the community to help reduce refuse spending.
