Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry deserves your help
The food pantry is suffering because of federal funding cuts
Help the Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry provide food for the hungry
Federal cuts have hurt the Food Pantry. They have helped many Greenburgh residents over the years
The Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry Needs Your Support More Than Ever! Cuts in Federal Funding Have Severely Impacted Our Ability to Help Community Members in Need. The Food Pantry has helped many Greenburgh residents over the years. And uses donations very efficiently.
Our primary food supplier, Feeding Westchester, is experiencing 25% in federal funding cuts. Due to this loss in federal funding the Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry is facing a major shortfall. This means less food for our local families already struggling to make ends meet.
We all know that food prices are high and how difficult it is to put a healthy meal on the table for your family. It is even harder for people living on social security or who have lost their jobs or single parents. These life changes and challenges can happen to any of us. The Dobbs Ferry Food Pantry presently serves over 400 community members, and we anticipate our pantry population to increase.
To be able to continue helping those in need we are forced to purchase food from other distributors at higher prices. Please consider donating today: www.dobbsferrypantry.org. Any amount will help.
No one in our community should experience food insecurity. No child should go hungry. Together we can make a difference.
