Dobbs Ferry Hosts 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony Friday

Dobbs Ferry will hold a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony tomorrow, Sept. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at Waterfront Park.

The program, as in past years, is organized by the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Fire Department, with the full participation of the Dobbs Ferry Police Department and the Dobbs Ferry Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Also supporting the event is American Legion Post 1048 and Auxiliary, and the local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops.

“The service will reflect not only the historical events of the 9/11 attack, but also how proud and lucky we are in Dobbs Ferry to have so many dedicated Responders who protect us and keep us safe all the time,” said Mayor Hartley Connett in a statement.
