Dobbs Ferry, Irvington, Hastings School Budget Results
Voters turned out Tuesday to decide whether to approve the spending packages.

RIVERTOWNS, NY — Voters in the Dobbs Ferry school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to pass the budget for the 2018-19 school year. The $44.8 million spending package was approved 273 to 59, according to unofficial results.
The budget was 3.98 percent above the current year. The tax levy increase is 0.97 percent.
A second proposition on the ballot asked for approval for the district to establish a capital improvements reserve fund. It was approved.

Incumbents Jonathan Greengrass and Shannon Johnson were re-elected to the board of education.
Voters in the Hastings school district approved their $50.5 million spending package 636 to 152, according to unofficial results.

The budget was 4.26 percent above the current year. The tax levy increase is 5.54 percent.
A second proposition asked voters to OK a bond up to $5 million for improvements, repairs and renovation of district facilities. It was approved.
Jodie Meyer, Jeremy Arnon and Lauren Berman were elected to three-year terms on the board of education.
Voters in the Irvington school district went to the polls Tuesday to decide whether to pass the budget for the 2018-19 school year. The $61.3 million spending package was approved 689 to 205, according to unofficial results.
The budget was 3.8 percent above the current year. The tax levy increase is 4.24 percent.
