Dobbs Ferry Man Hit By Car, Friends Set Up Fundraiser

He was struck head-on as he crossed Ashford Avenue Thursday.

A well-known Dobbs Ferry resident was seriously injured Thursday while crossing a local street.

Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner said Paul Golio was hit head-on by a car as he was walking across Ashford Avenue.

He the office manager at Dobbs Ferry Animal Hospital and also works as an actor and ventriloquist.

Golio is in the hospital with injuries to his head and spinal cord and numerous broken bones. Information on the GoFundMe.com page set up by friends and family to help pay his rent and other expenses while he recovers said he is in an induced coma.

“Please help one of our neighbors,” Feiner said, “who has always been there for our community when others are in need.”
