Dobbs Ferry Man Pleads Guilty to Online Sex Attempt

Dobbs Ferry's David Bagley pleads guilty to multiple charges.

Dobbs Ferry resident David Bagley said in court Tuesday he had tried to solicit sex from someone he thought was a 15-year-old girl–who was actually an undercover investigator, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's office.

Bagley, 25, appeared in Westchester County Court and pled guilty to three charges: promoting of an obscene sexual performance by a minor, possession of an obscene sexual performance by a minor and attempted dissemination of an obscene sexual performance by a minor. All are felonies.

If found guilty, he had faced up to seven years in state prison; he decided to forgo the trial, agreeing to serve a two-year sentence at the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla.

Bagley had also been arrested by Dobbs Ferry Police at an earlier date for unlawfully buying alcohol for minors.  His plea Wednesday also covered that misdemeanor charge
