Elevator at Hartsdale train station is working! first time ever!

The elevators at the Hartsdale train station are now working! Am so excited. Many residents have asked for the elevator for decades--I wrote numerous letters to Metro North over the years seeking the elevator and am thrilled that it is finally operating. The elevators on both sides of the bridge are beautiful and will make commuting so much easier for the disabled, the elderly, parents with children who use strollers. There has NEVER been an elevator at this station. A major quality of life improvement. Metro North also has improved the bridge area over the tracks--heated with a seating area while one is waiting for the train to arrive.. A great holiday present for Hartsdale from Metro North.
