19th Annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Indoor Golf Classic Benefit to Raise Funds to Fight Blood Cancers

Press release from The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society:
The 19th Annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) Indoor Golf Classic, presented by ITG Investment Technology Group, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at 7 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in New Rochelle, N.Y. Golfers will "putt for the cause" in an effort to raise over $138,000 to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma - and to improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Over the past eighteen years, this event has raised more than $1.5 million for LLS.
The night begins with a cocktail hour, featuring a Hole-in-One contest and an opportunity to "Beat the Pro." Guests will then play a tournament of 18 holes of miniature golf set up throughout the hotel, followed by a dinner, raffle, live and silent auction, and distribution of prizes from Titleist.
Cocktails begin at 7 p.m., and the tournament starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $135 per guest. Foursome and sponsorship opportunities are available as well.
2nd Annual Youth Indoor Golf Tournament
LLS looks forward to its second annual youth golf tournament, Putt for the Cause Jr., which will precede the adult event, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the hotel. Children ages 5 to 13 will play 18 holes of miniature golf on the same course throughout the Radisson while supporting the fight against leukemia, the most common form of childhood cancer. Food and refreshments will be provided.
