Aquefest! | 7 Villages

Jog. Hike. Stroll. Cycle. The 'Friends of the Old Coton Aqueduct' will host their 6th Annual AQUEFEST!—a trail-long celebration of the Old Croton Aqueduct—on October 9 & 10, 2010.

Saturday in Yonkers, Tarrytown, Ossining, Croton and Sunday in Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington with Special Guest Tom Chapin, 3-time Grammy Award Winner, performs family fun tunes at The Keeper's House, 15 Walnut Street, Dobbs Ferry on Sunday, Oct. 10 noon-1pm. [link]. Other highlights...Weir tours in Ossining. Eco-art along the trail in Croton. Irish music and dance in Irvington. Fiddlers and kite flying in Hastings...and more! It's all free, but donations welcome! Join the Friends, renew your membership, purchase Aqueduct maps, caps, t-shirts, too! Stay tuned for the entire AQUEFEST schedule of events.
