Ossining Weir Tour Hosted by the Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct

Old Croton Aqueduct Ossining Weir Tour  - Friends of the Old Croton Aqueduct   Meet at 10 am at the Joseph Caputo Center to watch a short film about the Aqueduct.  Take a quick walk to the Weir on the Double Arch Bridge and descend into the original 1842 brick water tunnel and learn its history. The address of the Center is 95 Broadway, Ossining, NY 10562, just west of Rte. 9/Highland Ave. at the junction of Croton Ave. (Rte. 133).  The Center may also be reached by train:  take the 9:44 am northbound train via the Metro-North Ossining Train Station, and hire a taxi or walk uphill for approximately 15 minutes.  Information:  ttarnowsky@aqueduct.org.
