Week 1: Nature Adventures - ages 7 - 9
Discover the wild areas along the shores of the
Hudson River! During Nature Adventures, children will walk the historic trails of the Palisades Park directly across the river, as well as visit Yonkers own floating farm, the Science Barge. The week also includes a visit from two-legged, four-legged, no legged, furry, feathered, bristled, and scaly residents from Greenburgh Nature Center.
In addition, campers will enjoy Catch of the Day Seining, a train trip to the Kathryn W. Davis Riverwalk Center in Sleepy Hollow, nature-based arts and crafts, free time for games and personal projects and creative play.

Children’s curiosity about the different plants and animals they see and touch during the week provides an exciting introduction to the world of science. Nature Adventures encourages observation and investigation.
