The College Process Begins - Open House at JCC On The Hudson

At the JCC on the Hudson, Michael Marlowe and Math and English Consulting will be discussing some of the pressing issues that parents and students have as they prepare to enter the most pivotal challenge of their lives; choosing a college.  Issues to be discussed will include:

Should I prepare my student for the PSAT?
Should my child take the SAT or ACT?
When should my student sit for the SAT the first time?
Should I be taking my SAT II’s? If so, in which subjects?
How many times should I take the SAT’s?
Private tutoring or classes: what should I be looking for in both?
Course work: how will the colleges really evaluate a “B” in AP vs. an “A” in regular?
